It never rains in L.A.?
That’s what they say right? That it never rains in Los Angeles? It’s the reason all those LA transplants move out here, besides to make it big in Hollywood: for the weather? And yet, the year we were filming was a weirdly wet year. Our movie doesn’t have that many outdoor scenes. The majority of it was filmed inside. So the rain wasn’t that big a deal. Although when you are on a limited budget as we were, the crew was often camped out outside of whereever we filmed. We used a studio apartment at the Hollywood Dream Suites to pose as Tabby and Steve’s apartments. And our production “office” and craft service table, was set up in small outdoor area in the back of the building. And inevitably, on the days when were were filming outside, it was always rainy. Either the rain had just stopped, or it was about to begin, or it was actaully drizzling, freaking out our camera crew and wardrobe. But we got through it and (mostly) stayed dry. #indiefilms #actorslife
